Tartan Linen Somerset Prairie Dress

Seasonal special! We have made just two of this style in an end of roll tartan linen. We made one Small and one Medium. 

The new 'Somerset' is a prairie dress with ease...I wanted to make a vintage inspired prairie dress that had a really cool factor and wouldn't make any 'costume drama'. A dress that I'd feel comfortable in for a visit to the corner shop as well as longed for parties post lockdown. So here we are...weighty linen in a black watch tartan check, styled with the minimum of fuss with just enough prettiness for modern maidens. 

The style is cut with a little curve; princess seams on the bodice, slight gathers at the waist and a back zip. Three quarter sleeves with discreet ruffles at the hems. Dress falls to mid/low calf on heights between 5'4" - 5'9". 

Fabric and Aftercare - Weighty, luxury linen. Unlined. Machine wash at 30 degrees. Hang dry or cool tumble. Medium iron if desired. We encourage minimal washing, saving water and the environment. 

Size Guide - 'Neater' this dress falls within our Neater fit category with a cut that follows the natural curves of the body. Length falls to below the knee. Dress falls to mid/low calf on heights between 5'4" - 5'9". 

Model, Justine, is a good size 10, height 5'5" and wearing a size Small.
